The Greater Ocean City, Maryland Chamber of Commerce has five membership tiers, and each is represented by a shorebird.

Why did we choose birds? Obvious answer: we live and work at the beach. More than that, though, the Ocean City area is home to many entrepreneurs – individuals who took a leap of faith and started a new venture with an uncertain outcome. In the same way, birds flock together, particularly if they need to go far, and our members, too, rely upon one another to achieve bigger goals. Sometimes, we can go faster alone, but often, we can accomplish the seemingly impossible when working as a team.
